We Supply and Install Worcester Bosch Boilers

Warm for Life supply and install three main types of Worcester Bosch boiler: combination (combi), system and regular. This page explains how each of these boiler types works and the advantages they offer for different lifestyles and property types.

Combi Boilers

A combi boiler is a highly efficient water heater and central heating boiler presented in a single, compact unit. With over 15 million fitted across the UK, Worcester Bosch combi boilers are now the preferred choice for most households and installers.

Combi boilers work by heating water directly from the mains whenever you turn on a tap, so you won’t need to find space for a hot water cylinder or cold water tank. They’re a cost-effective and energy efficient choice as the boiler only produces hot water as and when required, instead of storing it in a cylinder.

Another great benefit is enjoying a fantastic power shower without needing a separate pump, as your combi boiler will deliver hot water at mains pressure.

Other advantages include:

  • Constant, controllable temperature with hot water always available
  • Ideal for smaller properties, or those with little or no loft space
  • No risk of loft pipes or tanks freezing or leaking
  • Fewer components can mean faster, lower cost installation

System Boilers

With a system boiler, the major heating and hot water components are built into the boiler itself, making it quicker and easier to install than a regular boiler. You’ll need a separate hot water cylinder but not a central heating tank, making these boilers ideal for homes with limited roof space, or existing/planned loft conversions.

Worcester Bosch system boilers are efficient and economical to run, and are also compatible with Greenskies solar water heating systems, which could reduce your energy bills and help protect the environment. They’re ideal for homes with more than one bathroom and come with a wide range of optional controls.

Other advantages include:

  • Constant, even supply of hot water to all taps at the same time
  • No need for separate pump and loft tanks
  • Compact, smart design can fit in a standard kitchen cupboard
  • No risk of loft pipes or tanks freezing or leaking

Regular Boilers

A Worcester Bosch regular boiler could be a good choice if your home has a traditional set-up with a hot water cylinder and cold water tanks in the loft. It may also be your best option if your home has older radiators or pipework that can’t cope with the higher water pressure delivered by system and combi boilers.

Regular boilers are ideal for homes with two or more bathrooms where lots of hot water is used at the same time, or where mains water pressure is low. Your regular boiler will also work happily alongside a solar water heating system, helping to reduce both your energy bills and environmental impact.

Other advantages include:

  • Over 90% efficiency offers lower energy bills and carbon footprint
  • Great heating and hot water performance
  •  Smaller models suit very compact spaces
  • Replacement installation is usually straightforward
